Will Jason Kelce retire?

Jason Kelce's future is one of the hot NFL topics. The Philadelphia Eagles star will announce his plans at a press conference on Monday afternoon.

Rumours suggest that Kelce could retire. Indeed, the Kelce retirement rumour mill hit overdrive before Philadelphia's playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Eagles lost to the Bucs, and Kelce exited the game in tears. Many NFL insiders and experts expect Kelce to announce his retirement later today.

But Sunday Night Football co-commentator Cris Collinsworth sees things differently. On Kay Adams' Up & Adams show, Collinsworth said, "This is always what happens at the end of a season. When the season's over, you're ecstatic. You're physically exhausted, hate football, and don't want to train anymore.

"He's (Kelce) had a month or so off. Suddenly, you start feeling good and get people saying, 'You can come back for one more year; look at our team'. It would not surprise me if Kelce announces he's coming back for another season."

Kelce is one of the NFL's greatest offensive linemen. And he is the heartbeat of the Philadelphia Eagles' locker room. Whatever decision Kelce makes, it will have big after-effects.
