Another quarterback is set to be the number one pick in the NFL Draft with Alabama's Bryce Young set to be chosen by the Carolina Panthers. 

Young leads a batch of five players who will be off the board early, which includes three QBs: C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis, along with defensive end Will Anderson Jr. 

As always, the draft produces plenty of drama with all 32 NFL franchises looking to sign the best college talent and often with some rogue picks which leave fans and experts scratching their heads. 

But regardless of when players get drafted, it presents the opportunity of a liftetime as the hottest names in college football fufil their destiny and make their transition to the NFL during an event which stretches over three days. 

Here's what you need to know about this year's NFL Draft.

  • Round 1: Thursday, April 27 (8 p.m. ET / 1 a.m. BST)
  • Rounds 2-3: Friday, April 28 (7 p.m. ET / 12 a.m. BST)
  • Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 29 (12 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. BST)

NFL Draft 2023: Where is the event being held this year? 

The NFL Draft is being held at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. This will be the first time the city or state has staged the event.
