NFL Fantasy Football: Top quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers to target on waivers for Week 13NFL

It’s Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season and we’re officially in deep waters.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t enticing players out there to target on the fantasy football waivers. Let’s get to it!

Quarterbacks

Russell Wilson

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ opponent this week, the Cincinnati Bengals, are giving up an average of 225 passing yards per game.

That makes Russell Wilson, who is still available in many leagues, a viable option to start against the Steelers’ AFC North division rival.

He’s coming off a 270 yards passing game with a touchdown in a loss and perhaps will put up similar toward better numbers against the Bengals.

Cooper Rush

It has been a rough season for the Dallas Cowboys but Cooper Rush’s 247 yards passing and two touchdowns last week in a big win offered a bright spot.

With the Cowboys hosting the lowly New York Giants this week, Rush should be a great start … if you can get him off the waivers first, of course.

Drake Maye

If you’re in a crunch with options dwindling, the New England Patriots’ rookie quarterback isn’t a bad play against the Indianapolis Colts.

Running backs

Ameer Abdullah

The Las Vegas Raiders running back just keeps finding his way. Last week, his eight carries only amounted to 28 yards on the ground. However, he made up for it by catching five passes for 37 yards and a touchdown.

That dual threat could make him an interesting play even as the Raiders face the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Jaylen Warren

Warren earned 11 carries last week and turned them into 45 yards rushing with a touchdown for the Steelers last week. What makes this stat line interesting was that TD was Warren’s first of the year and perhaps just the confidence and momentum boost needed to pile on some more.

Roschon Johnson

Johnson’s yards on the ground don’t exactly jump off the page, but he has punched in a rushing touchdown in three of his past five games.

That makes him at least worth a roll of the dice in thin leagues at running back despite facing the soaring Detroit Lions this week.

Wide receivers

Jerry Jeudy

Simply put: Jeudy has game and with Jameis Winston airing it out the way he is and the wideout still available, it’d be wise to snatch him off the waivers this week.

He turned six catches into 85 receiving yards in an upset over the Steelers last week and could be in store for more when the Browns visit the Broncos.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

Familiar with Westbrook-Ikhine? If not, get familiar by tabbing him on your waivers.

The Tennessee Titans’ wideout has produced a receiving touchdown in six of his last seven games, including the TD he hauled in to go along with his 48 yards in a win last week.

Visiting the Commanders, the Titans should look to get Westbrook-Ikhine some more targets and with them, possibly some more fantasy points are on the way.

Keon Coleman

The Bills’ rookie wide receiver hasn’t played since November 3 but is slated to play against the San Francisco 49ers this week.

The Niners’ defense will make it tough on him but any time you have a quarterback like Josh Allen getting you the ball, a wideout start is understandable.
