The Green Bay Packers are the latest NFL side to unveil a new alternative helmet following the relaxation of the league’s uniform rules this offseason.
The franchise revealed a brand new white helmet on Thursday which will make up part of an all-white uniform that they will wear in their first-ever ‘Winter Warning’ game, which will be against the Houston Texans at Lambeau Field in Week 7.
The white helmet features a white face mask and shell, alongside the team’s traditional logo and a dark green helmet stripe. It will be paired with a white jersey and pants to create a fresh new look, with fans being asked to wear all-white attire for the match.
This slick new look is the latest of several new uniforms that fans will see this year, with a host of both permanent and alternative new additions.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will also have a white alternative helmet, plus a new throwback uniform, while the Baltimore Ravens will debut an all-purple alternative set-up this year.
The Minnesota Vikings will also have an all-white look, while the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, New York Jets and Cleveland Browns have all revealed new primary uniforms this offseason.
