Has Nick Bosa planted a seed in people's minds ahead of the Super Bowl?

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa has started the mind games ahead of Super Bowl 58. Bosa took to the podium on Thursday and spoke to the local press.

Bosa responded to questions about Kansas City's offensive tackles with one blunt statement. When talking about his opponents, Jawaan Taylor and Donovan Smith, Bosa said the following, "They hold a lot."

The Chiefs' offensive line is one of the most penalized units in the NFL. Three of Kansas City's offensive linemen are in the top 20 for penalties committed.

Ill-discipline has plagued the Kansas City offensive line all season. And this is undoubtedly an attempt by Bosa to plant a seed in the referees' minds before the game.

Furthermore, the Chiefs and the 49ers met in the Super Bowl five years ago. 49ers owner Jed York is adamant that the Chiefs held Bosa that night.

At his media scrum, York said, "I remember Nick Bosa getting held on third and long."

Will these comments now impact the refereeing performance at Super Bowl 58? It feels like the 49ers are trying to push out a specific message.
