Carolina are hoping to take a step forward in 2024.

The Carolina Panthers are going in 2024 off the back of one of their worst seasons in the NFL.

The NFC South franchise won just two games last season, as rookie quarterback Bryce Young struggled to adapt to life in the NFL.

There is renewed hope at the franchise, however, going into 2024, with new head coach Dave Canales expected to get more out of the 2023 number one pick Young.

Canales has a reputation of getting the best out of quarterbacks, such as Russell Wilson, Geno Smith and last year Baker Mayfield while offensive coordinator in Tampa.

Panthers running back Miles Sanders says Canales' impact is already being felt off the pitch, with the change in culture like "night and day" to last season.

Speaking to PanthersWire, Sanders said: "It's nothing but positive vibes, it's a different type of culture that we're building here that there's been here previously.

"That's the whole point of making changes, you hope for the better.

"So I can say what we got right now is good but we're just laying the foundation, and all we've got to do is keep grinding, get better every day."

The Panthers begin their preseason action against the New England Patriots on Thursday evening.
