The wide receiver was released by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this month.

Odell Beckham Jr could be closing in on his next move after reportedly having his first meeting since free agency began last week.

The 31-year-old hit the open market after a one-year stint with the Baltimore Ravens last season in which he caught 35 passes for 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

His search for a fourth team in as many seasons has now taken him to Miami, as the Miami Herald report that the wide receiver met with the Dolphins this week, with both sides having a ‘strong’ mutual interest in a deal.

Financial terms have been discussed, but not yet agreed, as the Dolphins looking to bring in a third wide receiver behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Should Beckham make the move it would give Tua Tagovailoa more ammunition in Mike McDaniel’s exciting offense.

Beckham was a first-round draft pick by the New York Giants in 2014 and made an immediate impact in the league as he combined spectacular playmaking ability with strong production during his first three seasons with the franchise.

Injuries then began to mount up, with a fractured ankle detailing his 2017 campaign, while a torn ACL ended his 2020 campaign in Cleveland early. He would tear the same ACL in Super Bowl LVI with the LA Rams, causing him to sit out the 2022 season.
