The Falcons steal one for their first victory of the season.

Trailing the Philadelphia Eagles by a touchdown on the road with 1:39 remaining, the Atlanta Falcons put all their faith in Kirk Cousins and the veteran quarterback more than delivered.

Without any timeouts, Cousins took 65 seconds to author a six-play, 70-yard game-winning drive, in which he completed five-of-six passes, including a 7-yard touchdown to Drake London. That score tied it and the subsequent extra point from Younghoe Koo put the Falcons up 22-21 which stood as they eked out the upset at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles had 34 seconds to march down the field and attempt to win the game but Jalen Hurts' pass intended for DeVonta Smith was picked off by Jessie Bates III to seal the Falcons' unlikely victory.

The home loss was especially heartbreaking for the Eagles considering they had a chance to secure the win on the series before Cousins' decisive drive, but running back Saquon Barkley dropped a pass from Hurts on a 3rd & 3 with 1:46 left, paving the way for the Eagles to kick a field goal instead and allow Atlanta to rally.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 1-1 early this season, sending a statement to the rest of the NFC and quite possibly the entire NFL. Cousins finished with 241 passing yards and two touchdowns.

The tough loss to swallow drops the Eagles to 1-1 as well. Hurts had 183 passing yards and a touchdown, while tossing the game-ending interception. He also had 85 yards on the ground with a rushing TD.

Here are key plays and highlights across the entire Eagles-Falcons game.
