The Houston Texans are still alive in the AFC playoff race, but go into the final game of the regular season outside of the top seven seeds.
Reaching the postseason would cap a remarkable season for rookie head coach DeMeco Ryans and rookie quarterback CJ Stroud.
Houston currently sit in the eighth seed, one spot behind the Indianapolis Colts, who just happen to be their opponents in Week 18.
The Texans, Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars all have 9-7 records going into the final week of the regular season.
One team must win the division while another could still take a wildcard spot, but the Texans will be guaranteed one of the two playoff spots if they can overcome the Colts.
