A pair of exciting young quarterbacks were named the Offensive Players of the Week for their respective conferences after NFL Week 18 action concluded over the weekend.
C.J. Stroud and Jordan Love claimed the honours for the AFC and NFC, respectively, after they each put on clutch performances in the final weekend of the regular season to lead their teams to the playoffs.
Houston Texans rookie Stroud threw for 264 yards with a pair of touchdowns and no interceptions as he helped his team to a crucial 23-19 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, while Love was just as impressive with 316 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Green Bay Packers' playoff-clinching 17-9 win against the Chicago Bears.
Both players are set to make their playoff debuts this weekend, and they will be looking to carry their momentum over into their maiden postsesaon games.
