The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, meaning for those at the top of the first round, it’s make your mind up time.
The Washington Commanders have the number two overall selection and with Caleb Williams set to go to the Chicago Bears as the first overall pick, it’s the Commanders who have the first big decision to make once the action gets underway in Detroit.
A quarterback pick seems inevitable for Washington, but with a host of strong QB prospects available, where do they go?
Most scouting reports in recent weeks have identified Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye as the best prospects after Williams, while J.J. McCarthy is the subject of growing buzz and looks to be sneaking up draft boards.
It will come as little surprise then that the Commanders are set to welcome the trio Daniels, Maye and McCarthy to their training facility next week.
It was reported earlier in the week that Daniels will meet with the team next Monday and Tuesday, while Maye will visit on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Now, Bleacher Report claim that McCarthy will also be in town next week as the Commanders and new head coach Dan Quinn do their final due diligence in the week before the draft.
