The 2023 NFL regular season is just one week away, and it has been a busy offseason for many teams.

Of the 32 teams in the NFL, 12 will begin the 2023 season with a different starting quarterback to last season after some big names were traded or drafted.

DAZN takes a look at who will be starting for at quarterback for each team this upcoming season.

Arizona Cardinals - Kyler Murray

While injury means Kyler Murray will not start Week 1 for the Cardinals, he is still the first choice quarterback in Arizona. Josh Dobbs or rookie Clayton Tune will suit up to start the season.

Atlanta Falcons - Desmond Ridder

Sophomore quarterback Desmond Ridder played four straight games to end last season and the Atlanta Falcons liked him enough to give him the starting job for 2023.

Baltimore Ravens - Lamar Jackson

No change in Baltimore as former MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson signed a new contract this offseason to remain with the Ravens. Can he inspire them to a Super Bowl?

Buffalo Bills - Josh Allen

Another quarterback with eyes on the Super Bowl is Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen, who is entering his sixth season in the NFL and remains one of the league's very best at the position.

Carolina Panthers - Bryce Young

A new era begins in Carolina this season as number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Bryce Young, will lead the Panthers to start the 2023 campaign.

Chicago Bears - Justin Fields

After a shaky start to his career, Justin Fields proved his talent in 2022. Now back for 2023 with a quality weapon in DJ Moore, Fields will be hoping to take the next step in his progression.

Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Burrow

One of the best in the business. Joe Burrow will be hoping to guide Cincinnati back to the Super Bowl for the second time in his career once he shakes off a calf strain picked up in preseason.

Cleveland Browns - Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson will start an NFL season for the first time in 2020 when he leads the Browns out against the Bengals next week. Can he get back to his best form and show why Cleveland spent so much to acquire him?

Dallas Cowboys - Dak Prescott

The Cowboys may have traded for Trey Lance but Dak Prescott is still locked in as Dallas' first choice quarterback. He is entering his eighth season in the NFL with the franchsie.

Denver Broncos - Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson had excuses for his poor form in 2022, but he will not be able to rely on them in 2023 as he hopes to reignite his career and help the Denver Broncos compete for the AFC West title.

Detroit Lions - Jared Goff

It was an excellent 2022 season for Jared Goff, who keeps his job as the number one quarterback in Detroit for the 2023 season. Can the Lions finally claim the NFC North title and make the playoffs?

Green Bay Packers - Jordan Love

Aaron Rodgers' time with the Packers has come to an end, and now Green Bay turn to Jordan Love to be their new franchise quarterback. Love has started just one NFL game to date, but now has big responsability on his shoulders.

Houston Texans - CJ Stroud

The Texans were the last team to formally announce their starting quarterback for the 2023 season, but this year's second overall pick CJ Stroud has won the battle against Davis Mills and will start next week for Houston.

Indianapolis Colts - Anthony Richardson

The third and final rookie to start in Week 1 of this NFL season is Anthony Richardson. The fourth overall pick beat out Gardner Minshew to the starting job and will now look to impress on his NFL debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence

Hoping Richardson gets off to the losing start is Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars quarterback has bags of talent, and he will be hoping to take the franchise back to the playoffs in 2023.

Kansas City Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes

The best in the business.Two-time Super Bowl winner and MVP Patrick Mahomes is entering his seventh season in the NFL hoping for a repeat of last season for the defending Super Bowl champions.

Las Vegas Raiders - Jimmy Garoppolo

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is now a Raider having signed a three-year, $67.5 million contract with Las Vegas back in March.

Los Angeles Chargers - Justin Herbert

At the time of writing, Justin Herbert is the highest paid player in the NFL, and Chargers fans will be hoping that 2023 is the year they finally topple the Chiefs in the AFC West division.

Los Angeles Rams - Matthew Stafford

Back from injury, Matthew Stafford will team up with Cooper Kupp once again in 2023 as the Rams look for more success than they had in a disappointing 2022 campaign.

Miami Dolphins - Tua Tagovailoa

Last season was scary for Tua Tagovailoa after a series of heavy hits and concussion. He is back for 2023 however, hoping to stay fit and help Miami challenge in a stacked AFC East division.

Minnesota Vikings - Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins is back for his sixth season with Minnesota and his 12th in professional football. Cousins led the Vikings to the NFC North title in 2022 with a 13-4 record.

New England Patriots - Mac Jones

After waiving Bailey Zappe, Mac Jones remains the only quarterback on the New England Patriots roster. He has spoken this offseason about a fresh start, so will be hoping to improve after a poor 2022 season.

New Orleans Saints - Derek Carr

Former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has made an offseason switch to the NFC South to join the New Orleans Saints. Carr signed a four-year contract worth $150 million in March.

New York Giants - Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones and the New York Giants exceeded expectations in 2022, and Jones signed a new four-year, $160 million contract extension earlier this year as a reward.

New York Jets - Aaron Rodgers

One of the biggest trades of the offseason. The New York Jets have long been the subject of jokes from NFL fans, but with Aaron Rodgers in town 'Gang Green' will be a feared opponent in 2023.

Philadelphia Eagles - Jalen Hurts

Last season's losing Super Bowl quarterback Jalen Hurts is back in 2023 to put things right. Hurts will continue to be one of the NFL's best rushing quarterbacks if he avoids injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Kenny Pickett

Kenny Pickett enters the 2023 as the Steelers starting quarterback. Last season, Pickett started 12 games, winning seven, and will have benefitted from the experience going into this campaign.

San Francisco 49ers - Brock Purdy

2022's Mr. Irrelevant was anything but irrelevant when forced into the starting role last season. Purdy won seven straight games before losing in the NFC Championship game, but has now been handed the starting job.

Seattle Seahawks - Geno Smith

Last season was a true bounce back year for 32-year-old Geno Smith, who led the league with a 69.8% completion rate. Smith now goes into his second straight season as a starter for the first time since 2014 with the Jets.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield, the 2018 number one overall pick, won the starting job in Tampa against Kyle Trask this preseason, but now has the uneviable job of filling Tom Brady's shoes as the Buccaneers' quarterback.

Tennessee Titans - Ryan Tannehill

Another fimilar face to the NFL returns in 2023, as Ryan Tannehill suits up for his 12th season in the league and fifth with Tennessee. Can he lead the Titans back to the AFC South title?

Washington Commanders - Sam Howell

One of preseason's biggest winners. Sam Howell was almost perfect with his throws in preseason and impressed so much he beat veteran Jacoby Brissett to the starting role in Washington.
