Trevor Lawrence enters his third NFL season at quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars after leading the team to the divisional round of the playoffs last year.

With stakes bound to be high for the 23-year-old, DAZN takes a look at his early career snapshot.

Where was Trevor Lawrence selected in the NFL Draft?

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Trevor Lawrence out of Clemson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. This came after Lawrence led Clemson to a national championship in 2018 and was named ACC Athlete of the Year in 2021.

How tall is Trevor Lawrence?

A couple of traits that scouts look for in an NFL franchise quarterback is his height and subsequent vision down the field. In those regards, Lawrence has most of his QB peers beat. Lawrence stands six-foot-six, making him tied for the tallest starting quarterback in the NFL with Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert.

A rookie season of instant impact and growing pains

After being the top overall pick in the NFL Draft, Lawrence was thrown into the fire as the QB for the Jaguars in 2021. His rookie season had him completing 59.6 percent of passes for 3,641 yards and 12 touchdowns, though he committed 17 interceptions, which had him tied with Matthew Stafford for most that year. His promising, yet painful first year had the Jaguars finishing with a 3-14 record, which had Jacksonville in the basement of the NFL alongside the Detroit Lions (3-14).

Solid second season

If Lawrence's rookie season laid the foundation, his second year had him making a statement. Lawrence finished within the NFL's Top 10 of quarterbacks for passing yards and touchdowns, recording 4,113 and 25, respectively. Plus, he was able to shave down his interception total to eight for the entire 2022 regular season.

His Jaguars finished 9-8 to win the AFC South division title and were able to clinch a Wild Card seed, where they'd carve out a slice of NFL history.

Captaining one of the best comebacks in NFL history

After Lawrence and the Jaguars made it to the playoffs, the Los Angeles Chargers made them feel like they shouldn't have been on the same field as them. The Chargers stormed out to a 27-0 lead with Lawrence throwing an abysmal four interceptions in his playoff-debut.

Yet, the second-year QB never wavered and calmly led the Jaguars to completing the third-largest comeback in NFL playoff history.

Following that awful start, Lawrence would end the game with 288 yards with four touchdowns to lead the Jags to an improbable 31-30 victory.

Though Lawrence and the Jaguars were edged by the eventual-Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round next, Lawrence more than proved that he has a bright future ahead.
