Boxing fans are still revelling in the aftermath of the thrilling encounter between Leigh Wood and Michael Conlan last weekend.
The fight, which can be re-lived on DAZN, had everything from knockdowns to a brutal knockout finish.
When analysing the fight on The DAZN Boxing Show, former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew had plenty of praise for the eventual victor Wood who showcased true champion credentials.
"They went above and beyond the call of duty here," Bellew said.
"When guys go down like Leigh Wood went down in that first round, that’s not a flash knockdown.
"That’s a full blown knockout shot that hits him clean on the button. His legs completely betray him, he’s flat on his back, his head hits the canvas, he finds a way.
"I touched upon this on my social media, it’s what true champions do."
The controversial knockdown suffered by Conlan in the eleventh round was also a topic of discussion for Bellew who believes it inspired Wood to produce the winning punch in the final stages.
"That wasn’t a knockdown," Bellew stated.
"His foot clearly slips on the advertising. Yes, he gets hit with a shot, but he’s already slipped.
"It’s never a knockdown, but for unbeknown reasons that gives Leigh Wood all the confidence in the world back in one go.
"It’s the most brutal finish I’ve ever seen to a fight of that magnitude live."
