So many big fights could take place next year.

With one result, the heavyweight division was turned upside down on Saturday night as Daniel Dubois stopped Anthony Joshua in the fifth round.

Dubois is now one of the main names at heavyweight and he’ll be watching closely when Oleksandr Usyk faces Tyson Fury for a second time in December.

Here, DAZN looks at what might happen next year as we pick out five heavyweight blockbusters for 2025.

Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois 2

What seemed an unlikely possibility just over a year ago is now one of the most fascinating fights in the heavyweight division.

Oleksandr Usyk overcome a debatable low blow to defeat Daniel Dubois in 2023 and he’s since gone on to defeat Tyson Fury to become undisputed champion.

Dubois has rebuilt brilliantly and with an emphatic stoppage over Anthony Joshua to his name, could a fight with Usyk be next?

Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua vs, Tyson Fury, for a long time, was perhaps the biggest fight that could be made in boxing, but defeats to Oleksandr Usyk have lowered the value of that fight considerably.

The bout remains a huge attraction, and if Fury is unable to beat Usyk later this year, a major showdown with Joshua could be the platform for both men to rebuild.

Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker

Is Joseph Parker worthy of a world title fight after enjoying outstanding wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang? Most would certainly think so.

The popular New Zealander has made it clear he wants a fight with Dubois, and it could be the right contest to make in 2025.

Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder

Another battle that was marinated too long robbed fans of an explosive encounter pitting Anthony Joshua against Deontay Wilder.

In Tyson Fury’s absence, these two men delivered numerous high-profile stoppages as the world waited to see who’d come out on top.

Both fighters have suffered in recent years but there remains enough history for the fight to sill grip followers of the sport.

Daniel Dubois vs. Zhilei Zhang

Whilst waiting for the for the winner of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to recover from conflict, could Dubois squeeze in a defence of his IBF crown?

Zhilei Zhang has long been a confident fighter and after stopping Deontay Wilder this past summer, he would relish the opportunity to fight for a world title against the in-form Dubois.
