    AnEsonGib returns to the world of Misfits Boxing on November 28 live on DAZN PPV. 

    Main eventing X-Series 019 in Qatar, Gib will be facing Slim in a rivalry which has been brewing nicely over recent years. 

    Gib will be arriving in Doha on the back of four successive wins, but it is the sole loss on his 6-1 record which he believes has had a positive impact on his career. 

    Four years ago in Miami, Gib decided to make his professional boxing debut against Jake Paul, who beat Mike Tyson earlier this month, and while Gib went all guns blazing, his front foot approach worked against him. 

    The British social media star lost his footing on multiple occasions whilst being knocked down twice and with Paul dominating, the referee had no choice but to stop the contest in the first round. 

    A defeat such as this can sometimes be all that's needed for someone to call time on boxing, but for Gib, it was an experience which helped him improve as a fighter and make him the must-watch talent that he is today. 

    "That fight was a big pivotal moment in my career," Gib said in an exclusive interview with DAZN. 

    "It was not the result that we wanted, but possibly the result that I needed in my career.

    "It made me a much better fighter; it’s helped me grow so much and it’s given my story the body it needed. It is what’s made me what I am now.

    "I have improved as a fighter since. Jake continues to grow and has become a bigger star."

    The upcoming fight against Slim will end 16 months of inactivity for Gib who has not fought since beating Jarvis in a Kingpyn boxing event in Dublin.
