Four-weight world champion Adrien Broner has revealed that a number of injuries played a part in his loss to Blair Cobbs.
The pair met on Friday night in Orlando, and Cobbs was a clear winner by unanimous decision after knocking Broner down in the second period of the 10-round contest.
This loss could speed up Broner's decision as to whether he continues to fight inside the ring, but it now appears that the 34-year-old was carrying two injuries during the clash after revealing the news on an Instagram story.
"Elbow fractured, shoulder torn, but I fought through it,” Broner wrote.
This loss to Cobbs was Broner's first since losing to Manny Pacquiao when the two went head-to-head for the WBA welterweight title in Las Vegas five years ago.
