Saturday night's all-female card at London's O2 Arena produced some thrilling contests including the co-main event which saw WBC women's super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner take on WBO and IBF champion Mikaela Mayer in a unification clash.
After 10 cagey and thrilling rounds, Baumgardner was awarded the win via a split decision, and with a fight as close as this, some were calling for an immediate rematch.
Straight after the fight, Baumgardner was quick to dismiss any future fights with Mayer, but when speaking to The DAZN Boxing Show, the Detroit fighter was open to facing Mayer for a second time.
"Yeah, I would give her another shot, but it’s got to be on my terms when I want it. Just like if the tables were turned, she would be saying the same thing," Baumgardner said.
"But as a competitor, as a fighter, I know I could have punished that girl even more, so every time I watch it, I’m like ‘Yo, you could’ve punished her more’."
However, don't expect a second fight with Mayer to be next, Baumgardner revealed that she has one goal on her mind following her victory on Saturday.
"I have my mind set on becoming undisputed and that will happen," Baumgardner stated.
"I may fight Mayer at 135, who knows, the sky’s the limit, there are many big fights out there for me."
