After thoroughly outclassing and destroying Stevie Morgan via second-round TKO on Saturday, Amanda Serrano looked into DAZN's cameras and delivered a message to Katie Taylor regarding their rematch in less than four months.
"Hi Katie — I'm ready November 15," said Serrano while speaking with Ariel Helwani. "Can't wait to go in there with you once again. We're gonna show that women can fight, put on a show, sell and I'm just excited to be in there with you again."
She also vowed: "And this time is going to be a lot different."
Their first fight resulted in a split-decision loss to Taylor back in April 2022, though some fans and critics believed that the bout was so close that Serrano could have very well wound up the winner.
One way that their rematch could be different is Serrano's conditioning.
She shared to Helwani that she hired a nutritionist in preparation for Morgan. Perhaps staying true to this new diet could go long ways in "The Real Deal" making sure she avenges her loss to Taylor.
Their original clash had Taylor and Serrano putting on an absolute thriller before a sold-out Madison Square Garden in New York City, and a record-breaking audience of 1.5 million tuning in globally on DAZN.
