Amir Khan has accused KSI of using his name as bait and claimed that the Youtuber-turned-boxer doesn't want to step in the ring with him.
The Misfits fighter has claimed that a bout between the two is imminent, with rumours of talks between the two parties.
in June, Khan had posted to his X account, 'Be cautious about what you desire' amid the speculation of showdowns with KSI and Jake Paul.
But as the latter prepares to face Mike Tyson this month, Khan, speaking to Prime Casino, says he does not believe that the social media star actually wants the fight.
"Look, I think the whole team were just using my name as bait to get other opponents," he said. "Deep down, they don’t want to fight me.
"I think it went past that long that I forgot about it. My name kept flying around everywhere and it was nothing said, I didn’t see anything or not contract.
"I just saw them yapping my name about. No harm in that if they want to build up a fight, or build up his next fight,
"By mentioning my name, it caused a lot of people to watch it or get involved in what’s going on. I don’t blame him.
"We’ve done the same thing in the past. I don’t think he wanted anything of it though."
