Amir Khan has accused Carl Froch of being bitter following years of verbal exchanges between the former world champions.
Froch, who has found success as a popular analyst through his YouTube channel, has been frequently critical of the Bolton boxer throughout his career.
During a career with multiple defences of the unified light-welterweight championship, Khan shared the ring with Canelo Alvarez, Terence Crawford, and Kell Brook among others.
Now, he has offered his thoughts on former super-middleweight Froch, stating that he has no regrets over how his time in the ring has played out.
"Carl Froch has always been bitter," Khan told Action Network . "He’s been a bitter person and feel like he always has a go at my career and what I’ve done.
"I’m happy with my career. Who is he to make a comment on what I’ve done and what I’ve not done or should’ve done?
"I've fought all over the world and am happy with my career, but he doesn’t need to make silly opinions.
“He’s just a negative person. I find it as jealousy. He is a bad apple. I’d rather not even entertain that situation.”
