Amir Khan threatens to destroy Kell Brook as grudge match gets closerDAZN
Amir Khan is in a confident mood ahead of his fight with Kell Brook.

Amir Khan has sent out a chilling warning to Kell Brook ahead of their clash at the Manchester Arena tonight.

The war of words between the two has been vicious for several years and the hostility was increased this week as the welterweight rivals came face to face ay this week’s press conference and weigh in.

Khan, who begins tonight’s fight an underdog, has always insisted he has the ability to beat Brook, and he has the chance to prove that as the pair finally clash. The 2004 Olympic silver medallist has defeated a number of high-profile operators including Zab Judah, Marcos Maidana, and Devon Alexander, and he’s promising to add Brook to his impressive record.

“Kell has no chance of winning this fight,” said Khan when speaking with Boxing Scene. "I’m going to destroy him, and it’s going to be a masterclass. The way I destroy him, he’ll need to retire after that, this will be his last fight.

“A couple years ago, he would’ve given me a harder fight for sure, but now, he doesn’t have a chance. It’s probably better fighting him now because he’s already half-broken. Beating a Kell Brook now or beating him five years ago, I don’t think it makes a difference.”
