Eddie Hearn wants to see Andy Ruiz Jr fight Deontay Wilder next, after the former world champ made a successful comeback against Chris Arreola.
Ruiz suffered an early knockdown but grew into the match and ultimately secured a convincing victory on Saturday night.
The Matchroom head has previously made two fights with Ruiz against his boxer Anthony Joshua, one which saw the four-belt champion lose to the American, before winning back his titles in Saudi Arabia in 2019.
Hearn said he had watched some of the fight, noting the changes made after so long away after his defeat to Joshua.
“I saw bits of pieces, I saw the knockdown. I also saw the fights in the crowd, wow,” he said to the DAZN Boxing Show.
“Andy Ruiz is a great fighter, he’s been out a long time, he’s also lost a lot of weight.
“I think this is going to take him a long time to get used to that.”
Ruiz has been linked with a fight against Wilder, the former WBC champion, and Hearn endorsed the idea of the pair meeting.
“It was just good to see him back in the ring,” he began. “First fight under Eddy Reynoso.
"I’d love to see him fight Deontay Wilder, I think that’s a tremendous fight, that would be great.”
