Anthony Joshua has called on Michael Hunter to help him get ready for his rematch with Dillian Whyte next month.
The heavyweight contender has solid credentials including a stoppage win over Martin Bakole, and the only loss on his record occurred back in 2017 when he was outpointed against Oleksandr Usyk down at cruiserweight.
Joshua’s bout with Whyte is seen as a must-win encounter for both men, with the road back from defeat set to be a treacherous one.
Joshua is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares for the August 12 fight with Derrick James in Texas, and that means bringing in high-level sparring partners who can replicate Whyte’s marauding style.
The former unified champion posted a story on his Instagram account with the both of them appearing to be in training.
As well as Hunter, Joshua has also brought in two relative newcomers to professional boxing to his camp with Jeamie Tshkiva and Jeremiah Milton also helping out with sparring duties.
