Anthony Joshua couldn’t resist a dig at Tyson Fury when formally announcing his imminent clash with Dillian Whyte to the world’s media.
Joshua has been linked to a contest with Fury for a number of years now, but a meeting is still no closer and both fighters are heading in different directions for the time being.
Joshua faces Whyte for the second time as a professional on August 12 and if victorious in that one, a meeting with Deontay Wilder later in the year is possible.
Fury has been speculated to take part in an exhibition bout with former UFC star, Francis Ngannou but that’s still not official. Joshua didn't hold back when the subject of Fury came up at his press conference.
"I don't waste my time with time wasters," said Joshua.
"I just want to fight, get on with it. I'm going to be 34 this year, let's crack on while I'm here. I'm not going to waste my time waiting for people and chasing for people."
