How did Joshua and Dubois land this fight?
Thirty-one fights into his career, Joshua has made the journey from Olympic Games wonderkid to heavyweight champion of the world twice before.
Defeat to Oleksandr Usyk by unanimous decision in 2021 however handed him a second career loss, and his third came in a rematch in 2022.
That could have spelled the end of Joshua's tenure at the top of the division, but he has fought his way back into contention over the past two years with four further victories.
Wins over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou have rebuilt his reputation, and positioned him once again as a challenger for Dubois and his title.
Younger by almost eight years, Dubois might not possess the pedigree that his opponent does, but has earned his reputation as one of the top heavyweights in the business.
His wins over Trevor Bryan and Kevin Lerena in 2022 saw him earn and then defend the WBA (Regular) heavyweight title.
He too lost to the unified champion Usyk, but wins against Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic restored him to mandatory challenger status, and now IBF champion after Usyk relinquished the belt for a Tyson Fury rematch.

What are the fighters saying?
“I’ve got to take it from him, turn him into an old man in the ring, and go out there and rip it from him,” IBF world champion Daniel Dubois said when speaking with DAZN.
“I don’t think he’s the same guy. People are easily swayed in this game. He fought an MMA guy and he fought Wallin. His last opponent, that was his second professional fight.
"I've got to make him quit, break him down. That's my mindset going into this. Making him quit, breaking him. I believe I can."
Challenger Anthony Joshua discussing Dubois with DAZN: "Saturday is massive, I can't wait to feel that energy when I am waiting to get out into the ring.
"If I put fear on one side and confidence on the other and draw a line in the middle, which side am I going to go down. It is confidence, I believe in myself and that is the mentality I believe is right.
"With this being a Riyadh Season fight it is a blessing to be involved in it and having it at Wembley. They've made it massive. This is a new age for boxing, a new golden era for boxing."
Who are pundits predicting will win?
Former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellow told DAZN : "All I can see is Joshua early. The first four rounds. I know Daniel carries a big threat, but Joshua is a level or two above those guys and this fight is on another level to anything Daniel has encountered before."
Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis said: "I think Anthony Joshua's experience does give him the edge. He's been through bigger fights. Oleksandr Usyk twice. The only thing is, Daniel Dubois was the only one, out of the two of them to put Oleksandr Usyk down on the floor."
George Groves, former super-middleweight world champion stated : "In the past, we have seen Joshua unravel a little bit. Is Dubois going to be too slick, too fresh, and be able to finish him? I'm not sure, I don't know, I'd pick Joshua to win this fight. But I'm not convinced. I'll go Joshua."
Dorian Darch, who has fought both men, believes : “I think it’s got to be early to middle Joshua knockout. Because I don’t know if you watched Dubois’ last fight to Hrgovic, in all fairness, he took the shots, but you can’t take them shots against AJ."
What about the promoters?
Joshua's promoter, Matchroom's Eddie Hearn, told DAZN: "When he fully gets the game plan and when it’s fully drilled we think he’s unbeatable. And that’s how we feel at the moment. We feel that everything we are seeing in the training camp is exactly what’s going to happen on September 21.
"With all due respect to Dubois, he makes mistakes and he’s not a difficult fighter to work out. He’s very strong, can punch and he’s physically a problem. When you analyse a fighter like that it’s not hard for the minds of Ben Davison and Lee Wylie to figure out the game plan."

Queensberry's Frank Warren, Dubois promoter said:
"Joshua has more experience, but there comes a time in boxing where it is a young man's game and I believe this young man is on his game and will come away as the victor.
"I doubt it will be a draw because I don't think it will go the distance, whoever goes on the back foot in this fight is not going to win it, the guy winning it is the one who pushes the other back and I believe Daniel is the guy to do that."
