Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois: What do the numbers tell us?DAZN
The key numbers behind this weekend's blockbuster clash from Wembley, and what they might mean.

Anthony Joshua goes head-to-head with IBF heavyweight tlte holder Daniel Dubois as he bids to become a three-time world champion this weekend, live on DAZN.

An all-British encounter will light up Wembley Stadium on Saturday, with the latter marking his first defence of the title since he was awarded it.

But could his reign prove premature as Joshua looks to reclaim the belt, with an eye on Oleksandr Usyk or Tyson Fury in the near-future?

DAZN breaks down some of the numbers behind the journey to this fight.

Joshua vs. Dubois - By the Numbers

2012: The year Joshua won a gold medal in the super-heavyweight division at the London 2012 Olympic Games, succeeding Roberto Cammarelle.

1997: The year that Dubois was born, eight after Joshua.

31: The number of professional bouts Joshua has fought, with a 28-3 record to his name.

22: The longest win streak for either boxer, achieved by Joshua from his professional debut through victory over Alexander Povetkin in 2018.

5: The number of first-round knockouts Dubois has delivered across his 23-fight professional career.

3: The amount of times Joshua has fought at Wembley Stadium - once on the undercard and twice as a headliner.

2: The number of losses suffered by Dubois, against Joe Joyce in 2020 and Oleksandr Usyk in 2023.

What does it mean?

Joshua is returning to not just a venue where he holds an unbeaten record, but one where he has delivered some of his best performances to date.

Not only will he likely call on the memories of his wins over Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin, but he will bring his stadium experience to bear too.

Dubois has fought in massive venues before, but only once as a headliner, when he lost to Oleksandr Usyk at Stadion Wrocław in Wrocław, Poland.

Likewise, Joshua packs more experience overall too, having won gold and turned professional long before Dubois switched from the amateur game.

But the latter is also eight years younger and arguably in the prime of his career, while Joshua turns 35 in just a month, with age and stamina possibly a gamechanger.
