Usyk will be watching when Joshua faces Dubois, live on DAZN, this weekend.

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois collide this weekend in what promises to be an explosive encounter for Dubois' IBF heavyweight title.

Some of the world's most recognised boxers are expected to be in attendance and that includes unified champion, Oleksandr Usyk.

The brilliant Ukrainian will rematch Tyson Fury in December, but first he'll take in a fight between two of his previous opponents.

Here, DAZN looks at what happened when Joshua and Dubois competed against Usyk.

DAZN BET Joshua vs. Dubois offer

Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk, 2021

The first meeting between Joshua and Usyk took place in 2021 with the former defending his IBF, WBA and WBO world titles.

Usyk entered the bout with minimal heavyweight experience following a brilliant run at cruiserweight that saw him become undisputed champion.

Despite conceding plenty of size to Joshua, Usyk ensured his superior skill set would be a huge factor as he dominated Joshua in a battle of 2012 Olympic gold medal winners.

Usyk was in control from the outset and he even managed to hurt Joshua in the final round before settling for a points verdict which made him world heavyweight champion.

In an immediate rematch, Joshua, who made changes to his coaching team, was unable to alter the result from the first bout.

Despite putting in a better effort, Joshua was unable to register a win against Usyk who managed to find another level in the closing rounds to retain his belts.

Joshua's success in round nine had some believing he had finally figured Usyk out, but the champion responded brilliantly to close out the fight and win via split decision.

The Brit would take the microphone after the fight to congratulate Usyk before explaining reasons why he may have fallen short in his quest to defeat his great rival.

Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois, 2023

Dubois entered the bout a significant underdog but he was able to close the gap immediately as he looked to make a dent on Usyk's body.

In the fifth round, a shot from Dubois provided the fight with its most controversial moment as the punch was deemed to be low by the bout's third man.

Usyk was hurt and took several minutes to recover but those part of Dubois' team, and many neutral observers, felt the blow was legal.

Usyk recovered brilliantly and he was soon back on top as he dropped Dubois in the contest's ninth session and the challenger was unable to continue.
