Here's what the stats tell us about who could triumph when Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois face off on Saturday.

Joshua can go the distance...

The former two-time world champion, like his opponent, made his name across the earlier part of his career as a fearsome and fast finisher, capable of early knockouts.

But he has clocked up 162 rounds across his career and gone the distance on five occasions, compared to once for Dubois. If he can wear him down, he will control this one.

...But Dubois can end it early

The counterpoint is that Dubois has traditionally finished bouts with a definitive knockdown - and finished them quickly to boot, boasting a 95.24 percent KO rate.

That is an uptick on the 89.29 percent figure that Joshua enjoys. You have to go back to 2018 to find the only time he didn't win by KO, with a points victory over Kevin Johnson.

A matter of inches

You'd be a fool to consider either man a small fry, even by the standards of the heavyweight division. But while Dubois may have youth on his side, Joshua has reach and height.

With an additional four inches to his fists and one inch taller than his foe, the latter doesn't exactly tower above the former, but he will hold a physical advantage.

Power and pace key to victory?

At the end of the day, it might come down to sheer volume that helps decide this encounter, with Joshua boasting an average of 37.7 punches thrown per round.

What's more, his connection rate is 31 percent too. That relentless success ratio, landing nearly one in every three blows, might be the key to downing Dubois.
