Eddie Hearn is confident that Anthony Joshua will emerge victorious when he faces Francis Ngannou in an intriguing heavyweight clash on March 8.
Both men will be having their first bout of 2024 after each making a significant impact on their division last year when aiming for glory against a list of contenders.
Ngannou almost caused one of the biggest shocks of all time when he dropped Tyson Fury last October before losing controversially on the scorecards.
Joshua registered three wins against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin, and now he’s aiming for a fourth successive win with Hearn, his promoter, backing his man to do it.
“I believe that he is going to wear him down and chop him down,” said Hearn when speaking to Matchroom.
“By the end of the eighth round this fight will be over and Anthony Joshua will be ready to fight for the undisputed world championship.”
