The two fighters meet on March 8, live on DAZN.

Anthony Joshua's trainer, Ben Davison, has urged his fighter to show Francis Ngannou respect ahead of their showdown on March 8.

Ngannou is set to face the former world champion in Saudi Arabia in what will be his second fight as a professional boxer after impressing in his split decision loss to WBC title holder Tyson Fury.

One of the major takeaways from Ngannou's clash with Fury is the Cameroonian's punching power, and it was on show back in October when Ngannou managed to knock down Fury in the third round.

Following a stoppage win over Otto Wallin in December which saw Joshua showcase his own power, this fight with Ngannou could prove to be an exciting one, but Davison is aware of the threat Ngannou can pose.

"Treat him [Ngannou] with respect," Davison told Sky Sports

"Let's not lose sight of it. He had a split-decision loss to Tyson. Straightaway that puts him up among people that have really struggled with Tyson.

"He showed composure, he showed patience, which are all things which become a threat when you can punch like that.

"I think it's easier to deal with a puncher when they're a little bit reckless, a bit gung ho. They're the novicey side of his game that we thought we would see - a lack of patience, a lack of composure. But those are things that he's shown. So we're treating him like a world-class heavyweight."
