Beterbiev and Bivol is almost here and you can watch it live on DAZN.

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol finally meet this weekend and it’s a fight that has the entire boxing community excited.

The world’s two best light-heavyweights collide to crown an undisputed champion, live on DAZN, and it’s got the potential to be the best fight of 2024 and add to the 175lbs rich history.

Beterbiev, one of boxing’s most destructive fighters, enters the contest protecting a flawless 20-0 record that also includes 20 straight stoppages.

The former amateur star has bulldozed his way through multiple contenders on his way to his defining contest, and Tony Bellew believes he will add another win to his ledger when he faces Bivol.

Bellew, a former world title challenger at light-heavyweight, is a huge admirer of both competitors, but he can’t look past Beterbiev’s power as being the defining factor in the fight.

The Liverpool man has flipped his prediction throughout the build-up, but he now appears ready to give Beterbiev his backing.

“First of all, this is a high-quality fight between two really outstanding boxers,” said Bellew when speaking exclusively to DAZN News

“These are the fights that make people take notice of our brilliant sport and it’s very rare you get a fight between two boxers of the highest order. I’m really excited for it.

“Picking the winner is so difficult as each man has several ways to win and there’s a few scenarios that could play out. The one I keep saying is Bivol building an early lead, but Beterbiev just applying nonstop pressure and eventually stopping Bivol in the later rounds.”

Although uncertain when making his pick, Bellew keeps going back to the power possessed by Beterbiev, and he’s not sure Bivol can keep him off.

“It’s so hard when you’re in there with a fighter who just keeps you moving and keeps you thinking. I had it against Oleksandr Usyk in my final fight and I was absolutely exhausted.

“I can see this happening to Bivol. He’s so good and he could box his way to a 12 round win but he’s going to be working for every second of this fight and it’s eventually slow him down meaning Beterbiev will get his shots off.”
