Astrid Wett left nothing in the tank and with a fierce attack she threw herself from the opening bell at her opponent, AJ Bunker, as her goal was to become Misfits Boxing champion and she achieved it by winning by majority decision (29-28, 29-28 for Wett and 29-29).
On Saturday night at Telford International Centre youtuber Astrid Wett showed hunger and was relentless with the influencer AJ and despite being bleeding through the nose she kept throwing punches and putting up a fight that saw her become the owner of her first championship belt.
"It was a tough fight, my nose bled easily. But it was a great fight AJ was very good but not good enough to take the win. I was very confident that I would win because I worked so hard for this. I'm very proud of myself. If AJ wants to show she's on my level, go ahead with a rematch, but obviously, I want to look to the future, not the past. This guy (the belt) will not leave my side," said the new champion who improved her record to 2-0.
However, there are plans on the horizon, as Elle Brooke - who was part of the broadcast - was on site and it was impossible not to fantasize about a possible fight. Both said they were ready for any challenge, but one drawback was the difference in divisions. But they didn't say no.
For AJ Bunker, it was the second loss in three fights.
