The divisive fighter is making a name for himself.

Ben Whittaker is quickly making a name for himself as a result of his antics inside the ring and his outspoken character outside of it.

Currently undefeated in his eight fights as a professional, Whittaker returns to action on October 12 when he faces Liam Cameron on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol's clash for the undisputed light heavyweight title.

With Whittaker being one of boxing's most enigmatic talents, a fight against a marquee name should not be far away and one of those could be against Chris Eubank Jr.

Eubank Jr. is also set to feature on the Beterbiev vs. Bivol card, and he has recently called for a fight against Whittaker who has not pured cold water on the idea.

"Of course, never say never, he classed it as a ‘sexy fight’ I would say that it is more ‘Beauty and the Beast’," Whittaker told the Toe2Toe podcast

"It’s a good fantasy fight, he has got a great name and who knows?

“It would be a one-off fight and it would have to be a catchweight of some sort, hopefully [around] super-middle. If he is game, then I am game. Tell Turki [Al-Alshikh] to set it up, I am alright with that.”
