Will Cameron get a rematch with Whittaker?

Liam Cameron has had to endure plenty in his professional career, and his latest result, a draw against Ben Whittaker, has left the Sheffield man angry.

Cameron entered the bout a major underdog, but he produced some notable moments as he gave Whittaker the toughest test of his career so far.

With the bout evenly poised, the pair both went over the ropes during a tussle in the fifth round and the freak accident prevented Whittaker from finishing the contest.

He was escorted back to the dressing room in a wheelchair before being moved to a local hospital.

The damage caused is still not known, but the performance from Whittaker has drawn some criticism from the boxing community.

When recovered, it appears the natural fight to make is an immediate rematch, but Cameron believes he should've been given the verdict after the judges couldn't sperate the pair.

“I definitely beat him. I don't get a fair share. I got a split decision lost in the last fight. I just had a draw this one. What more do I have to do?” said Cameron when speaking to DAZN

“I've never had a promotional deal in my life, and I tried to do best today to get that win, and I thought I fully deserved it.

“I don't want to be critical to him because no one gave me a chance. No one. It wasn't the Liam Cameron show, I didn't have no cameras on me, following me, it's just my small team.”
