The boxing legend had his say on the four-weight champion's future.

It has been six days since Terence Crawford became a four-weight world champion against Israil Madrimov, and he has continued to be a topic of discussion in the world of boxing.

It has mostly been in relation to who the new WBA light middleweight champion will face next.

At first it appeared to be that unified super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez would be next for Crawford, however, this fight is now off the table.

Instead, Bernard Hopkins, a legend of the sport, has suggested that Crawford should face IBF welterweight champion Jaron "Boots" Ennis for his next fight.

"I would want to make Crawford vs. Boots Ennis in Philadelphia," Hopkins told FightHype

"Make that today because I believe any other fight past those divisions going up to Canelo is not realistic based on financial realistic or non-realistic. In this case non, but Crawford vs. Boots Ennis is the fight to see.

“That’s a super fight. Trust me"
