Conor Benn’s next move is still unknown as the British star continues to be linked to big fights against the likes of Danny Garcia and Gervonta Davis.
Another fight speculated is Chris Eubank Jr, but with that battle still unconfirmed for the time being, Benn will need to look in a different direction even though it’s a fight that excites his father.
Back in the 1990s, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank were involved in a ferocious rivalry that elevated British boxing.
The pair’s rematch took place at Old Trafford and Benn would love his son and Chris Jr to equal their parents by staging their fight there if they ever were to meet.
“It's a mammoth fight, they can pack out Old Trafford like we did. They won't have half a billion people watching - I wish there was pay per view then, but it's a big fight,” said Benn when speaking to Fruity Slots
“People are worried about Conor Benn moving up to 160, but at the end of the day Conor walks around at 12 stone anyway, so that's not a problem at all making the weight.”
