Canelo Alvarez gave no hints over his next bout after defeating Edgar Berlanga in Las Vegas, but hinted he would return to the city for a future fight.
The Mexican headed back to Nevada, his home-away-from-home, for the latest defence of his unified super middleweight titles at the T-Mobile Arena.
Another victory by unanimous decision saw Canelo regain his titles in comprehensive style, with two judges scoring the fight 118-109 and another 117-110.
Regarding his next steps, which could include a bout with Terence Crawford or David Benavidez, Canelo did not offer any indication while offering his take on his latest win.
"My experience and my talent was the difference," he said afterwards. "It's about hard work and intelligence.
"It's everything together. If you have talent, you need discipline as well. A lot of people say we can't, but we can.
"Las Vegas is like a second home for Mexicans. We are warriors and we never give up.
"I’m going to rest and then I'm going to decide what's next."
