Whether it's a pipe dream or a bout that will eventually happen, how would a Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford super middleweight fight pan out?
"I think Crawford, don't get me wrong, is a great fighter but for me in my weight class, it's an easy fight," Alvarez said on Sway In The Morning.
"For me, easy money. If the money is right, I'm in."
As Alvarez continued, he believes Crawford discovered how tough it is to move up in weight while delivering a unanimous decision over Israil Madrimov to become the new WBA junior middleweight world champion over the weekend.
"They have weight [classes] for a reason," Alvarez said. "I know in his mind he thinks he can do whatever he wants because he's a very talented fighter, he's a very good fighter. I like how he fights but that's why there are weight classes.
"He knows now."
Alvarez will look to defend his unified super middleweight world titles against mandatory challenger Edgar Berlanga on September 14, live on DAZN in the U.S. and Canada.
