Eddie Hearn expects Edgar Berlanga to give it everything when he challenges for world title honours against Canelo Alvarez next month.
The pair clash on September 14, live on DAZN, and Canelo begins the fight a huge favourite.
Hearn, who previously promoted Canelo for multiple fights, is now guiding the career of Berlanga.
The Puerto Rican puncher will be protecting an unbeaten record next month, and despite the step up in class, Hearn believes his man will give Canelo plenty of questions to answer.
“Edgar respects him. He knows how great Canelo is, but he believes he’s going to win, and he’s an underdog,” said Hearn when speaking to the Stomping Ground.
“I’ll tell you what. He’ll have a right go, and it’s a dangerous fight for Canelo Alvarez, and I’m looking forward to it.”
