The big fight takes place on Saturday.

Chris Algieri has offered Jaime Munguia numerous ways to defeat Canelo Alvarez this weekend when the pair clash for super-middleweight glory.

The all-Mexican affair is set to be one of the biggest fights of the year and Munguia starts the bout as a significant underdog.

Canelo's run at 168lbs has been an impressive one with standout wins over the likes of Callum Smith and Caleb Plant, and next up is Munguia.

Unbeaten and a former world champion himself, Munguia has many qualities and Algieri, once a world titlist at 140lbs, has identified what he believes is the manner to fight Canelo.

“Canelo doesn’t like jabs. Floyd Mayweather used a jab to beat him, and Sergey Kovalev gave Canelo a lot of trouble because he has a very underrated jab that sets up those power shots,” said Algieri when speaking to ProBox TV.

“Canelo likes that high guard defence. If you keep touching that and keeping those hands at home, it takes away a lot of those counter-punching opportunities for Canelo.”
