It's official: Canelo Alvarez will put his undisputed super middleweight world titles on the line against Jaime Munguia on May 4.
The bout will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Canelo took to his Instagram account and broke the news of the fight featuring two all-action Mexican fighters.
Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Jermell Charlo in an undisputed super middleweight bout in September. Prior to that, he defeated John Ryder by the same result in May.
Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) defeated Ryder by ninth-round TKO this past January.
