Terence Crawford returns to action next month when he jumps up to super-welterweight to face Israil Madrimov.
Victory for the Nebraska man will see him become world champion in a fourth weight class and a win could set up a future showdown with Canelo Alvarez.
Since beating Errol Spence last summer, Crawford has been linked to a showdown with the Mexican icon that would require him to jump up to 168lbs.
Despite putting the bulk of his focus on Madrimov, Crawford has admitted that a bout with Canelo could happen down the line.
“I definitely think that's a realistic fight. I think that fight can definitely happen, and we shall see,” said Crawford when speaking to the Daily Mail.
“I think I can sell out anywhere. I don't think it matters what state we fight in. I think the fight sells itself.”
