All boxing fans' eyes seem to converge on Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's fights already. Alvarez daring to reach another level of greatness, though, makes for must-see, can't-miss boxing action.
Alvarez will attempt to become a four-division world champion Nov. 2, when he moves up two weight classes to challenge WBO light heavyweight champ Sergey Kovalev at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, live on DAZN.
Alvarez (52-1-2, 35 KOs) last fought May 4, when he defeated Daniel Jacobs by unanimous decision to win the IBF middleweight championship. The IBF later stripped Alvarez of the title after he failed to reach a purse bid with Sergiy Derevyanchenko, but he remains the WBA (Super) middleweight champ.
Kovalev (34-3-1) bounced back from a seventh-round TKO loss to Eleider Álvarez in August 2018 to defeat the Colombian fighter by unanimous decision in February and take back the WBO light heavyweight title. He then delivered an 11th-round TKO of Anthony Yarde this past August.
