Canelo Alvarez is one of the most accomplished boxers of his generation, but he's taking on a new challenge Saturday.

The 29-year-old is moving up two weight classes to fight Sergey Kovalev for the WBO light heavyweight championship Nov. 2. A win at MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas would make Alvarez a four-division champion.

Alvarez has bounced around weight classes for much of his career, including multiple stints as a light middleweight and middleweight, in addition to fighting as a super middleweight and taking catchweight bouts.

Kovalev, a 36-year-old Russian, has been the WBO light heavyweight champion since February and has held multiple other light heavyweight belts at different points in his career.
