Chantelle Cameron believes there can be no argument about Katie Taylor's decision victory over Amanda Serrano while weighing in on the controversy around use of the head.

The Irishwoman defended her undisputed super-lightweight title with a second win over the Puerto Rican in their rematch at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas on Friday night.

Taylor won the fight by a unanimous call, despite having a point deducted in the eighth round for head contact, while Serrano suffered a gaping cut from one clash between them.

Cameron, who handed Taylor her first loss last year before suffering a defeat of her own in the rematch, admitted she had been warned by other opponents about head contact.

Usyk vs Fury 2"I do think if you are having a very close fight, you can't argue which way it went," she told The Stomping Ground. "[But] when I saw the cut, it was disgusting. It made me feel sick.

"I respect Katie for what she's done for female boxing. But previous opponents contacted me before the first fight and the second, and were saying about the head.

"It's just facts. Obviously there is a head situation, intentional or not. I'd rather be punched ten times in the head rather than headbutted.

"Sometimes, I think you've just got to be a bit more cautious with the head. It's not boxing, is it? The fact is, you have to watch those heads."
