Richard Riakporhe knows the rewards on offer if he defeats Chris Billam-Smith, and has predicted how he will emerge victorious.
The cruiserweights go at it on Saturday (live on Peacock in the US), with Billam-Smith’s WBO cruiserweight championship on the line.
The winner could be in line to face undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, should he return to his previous weight class.
"That's even more motivation [to beat Chris Billam-Smith]. I want to mix it with the biggest names in the division and there is a big opportunity for me right now," Riakporhe told Sky Sports.
"I've put extra pressure on myself and I think it's a really good time for me and everyone as boxers really. But it's really a special time for me at cruiserweight."
Turning to his attention to the fight at hand, Riakporhe believes the bout will be stopped in his favour.
"I think it's going to end in a technical knockout," he said. "The way I've been performing in camp and my career so far, I feel like I'm punching really hard and I know what I'm doing.
"I know how to take these guys out, which is the way I'm doing it. I feel like with CBS, it's just a matter of time before I get to him."
