Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn set to finally meet in London this AprilMark Robinson/Matchroom Boxing

Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn will finally meet in the ring more than two-and-a-half years after they were originally due to clash, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has announced.

The British duo were originally due to fight in October 2022, before the bout was scrapped at short notice after an adverse test finding against Benn on the eve of the encounter.

Since then, both men have traded barbs in public, following the rivalry of their fathers Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn, with a replacement match-up long desired by both camps.

Now, it looks set to feature on a card this April in London, with His Excellency taking to social media to confirm the much-hyped feature encounter.

"Eubank Jr [versus] Benn [is] done," he wrote on X. [It will be] in April, [in] London. Soon I will announce the day and the location,

"I will push to make [the] PPV price £19.99 for the fans, with [a] tough undercard. Let's get boxing great again and wait for [a] huge announcement soon."

The fight will mark Eubank Jr's first bout since he defeated Kamil Szeremeta by seventh-round stoppage on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol's first fight.

Benn was present throughout fight week during that October bout and stepped into the ring to challenge his rival in the aftermath of the encounter.
