Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kamil Szeremeta: Who was the heavier fighter at weigh-in?

Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kamil Szeremeta: Who was the heavier fighter at weigh-in?Mark Robinson / Matchroom Boxing
The two men faced off one last time ahead of their bout this weekend as they took to the scales in the final ceremonies.

Chris Eubank Jr. played down his altercation with Conor Benn ahead of his bout with Kamil Szeremeta at the weigh-in for Riyadh Season's IV Crown Showdown live on DAZN.

The Briton contests a middleweight encounter on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol's undisputed bout at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Eubank Jr. is making his return to the ring more than a year on from his last fight with Liam Smith, but it was former rival Conor Benn who stole the attention on Friday.

The latter, who was due to face Eubank Jr. in 2022 before failing a pair of doping tests, pushed the former and launched a verbal tirade against him earlier in the day.

But as he came in at 159.12lbs - the same as Szeremeta - the 35-year-old refocused on the task at hand, taking off his shirt to show off a spectacular pre-fight physique.

"That little insect is a coward," he said. "He showed his true colours. I'm not worried about Conor Benn. I've got to deal with this tough opponent in Kamil Szeremeta."
