The British fighter still wants a title shot.

Chris Eubank Jr. is targeting a world title fight with Gennadiy Golovkin after his win over Liam Williams.

Eubank defeated Williams in Cardiff on Saturday night with a measured but dominant display over his bitter rival, and wants to move onto a title fight in 2022, though acknowledged the possibility of another high-profile match-up instead.

Speaking of IBF champion Golovkin, Eubank told Sky Sports: "That is the No 1 target. He is up there as the fight that I want next. He is the top of the list.

"But that's the exciting thing about the middleweight division right now, there are so many big names and world championships to fight for.

"We're gunning for a big name and a big title in the summer."

Golovkin is still expected to face WBA middleweight champion Ryota Murata before he entertains another fight.

With a GGG event far from likely, Eubank also said he would consider fighting the winner of Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook, which takes place later this month.

"If the fans want it, then absolutely," he admitted. "We'll have to see what happens in the fight with him and Amir.

"Would a fight with the winner be a possibility? Absolutely. If the fans want it, I'm down 100 per cent."
